Usage notes[edit]

  • The Academy of the Hebrew Language states that there is logic in both the form גַּזְעָן (gaz'án) and גִּזְעָן (giz'án). Since there is an advantage to the existence of only one form and the latter seem to be more common they recommend it.[1]
