Etymology[edit]

Inherited from Proto-Turkic *ičür- (to make someone drink).[1] Equivalent to the causative of اِجْماكْ (ičmēk, to drink). Cognate with Turkish içirmek.

اِجُرْماكْ (ičürmēk) (third-person singular aorist اِجُرُرْ (ičürür))

    Synonym: اِجْتُرْماكْ (ičtürmēk)
    اُلْ اَنكَرْ سُوڤْ اِجُرْدٖىOl aŋar sūv ičürdī.He gave him water to drink.
