Etymology[edit]
Inherited from Proto-Turkic *ič-iĺč-mek (“to drink together”).[1] Equivalent to reciprocal of اِجْماكْ (ičmēk, “to drink”). Cognate with Turkish içişmek.
Verb[edit]
اِجِشْماكْ (ičišmēk) (third-person singular aorist اِجِشُورْ (ičišǖr))
- (reciprocal) to drink together either in competition or helping
- اُلْ مَنِكْ بِرْلا سُوتْ اِجِشْدٖى ― Ol meniŋ birlē sǖt ičišdī. ― He competed with me in drinking milk.
