Inherited from Proto-Turkic *teŕek (dung); cognate with Bashkir тиҙәк (tiźək), Kazakh тезек (tezek), Kyrgyz тезек (tezek), Southern Altai тезек (tezek), Uyghur تېزەك (tëzek) and Uzbek tezak.
