Etymology[edit]
From خفیف (hafif, “light, not heavy”) + ـلنمك (-lenmek, suffix forming passive infinitives from stems ending in front vowels).
Verb[edit]
خفیفلنمك • (hafiflenmek)
- (intransitive) to become light or lighter in weight
- (intransitive) to lighten up, to become less serious
