Literally: “That which belongs to the stingy person, the cunning person will eat (acquire) it."

مال اِلْبَخيل ياكْلَه اِلْعَيَّار (mal-ɪlbəxil yakl-əl3əyyər)

  1. If someone holds something in a stingy manner, someone will eventually get to it, hence rendering all their time spent protecting their possessions pointless.
