- either … or (can be used for more than two things by repeating the يا part)
- بالثنوي لازم تختار يا علمي يا ادبي
- b-iθ-θanawi lāzim tixtār yā ʿilmi yā adabi
- In secondary (school) you have to choose either Sciences or Arts
