Etymology[edit]
Inherited from Sanskrit दार्ढ्य (dā́rḍhya), from दृढ (dṛḍha). Cognate with Saraiki ݙاڈھا (ḏāḍhā), Kannada ಡಾಡ (ḍāḍa) and Marathi डाढा (ḍāḍhā).
