Inherited from Helu Prakrit -𑀅𑀣 (-aṭa /⁠-aṭṭā⁠/), -𑀅𑀣𑀬 (-aṭaya /⁠-aṭṭāya⁠/), from Prakrit 𑀅𑀝𑁆𑀞𑀸𑀬 (aṭṭhāya), from Sanskrit अर्थाय (arthāya), dative singular of अर्थ (artha, purpose).
