Borrowed from Prakrit 𑀧𑀡𑀢𑀻𑀱𑀁 (paṇatīṣaṃ), from Sanskrit पञ्चत्रिंशत् (pañcatriṃśat). For the preservation of /r/, see ތިރީސް (tirīs).
