Borrowed from Classical Persian قبول (qabūl), from Arabic قَبُول (qabūl). Cognate with Odia କବୁଲ (kôbulô​), Hindustani قبول / क़बूल (qabūl), Gujarati કબૂલ (kabūl), Marathi कबूल (kabūl), Punjabi ਕਬੂਲ (kabūl).
