- ከምቲ ክርስቶስ ንማሕበሩ ዘፍቀራ፡ ኣቱም ሰብኡት፡ ኣንስትኹም ኣፍቅሩ። ክርስቶስ ብቓሉ ገይሩ ብምሕጻብ ማይ ምስ ኣጽረያ ምእንቲ ኪቕድሳ፡ ርስሓት ወይስ ዕጣር ወይስ ገለ ነዚ ዚመስል ዜብላ፡ ብዘይ መንቅብ ቅድስትን ክብርትን ማሕበር ገይሩ ንእኡ ምእንቲ ኬቕውማ ኢሉ፡ ርእሱ በጃኣ ሃበ።
- kämti kərsətos nəmaḥbäru zäfḳära ʾatum säbʾut ʾansətxum ʾafḳəru. kərsətos bəḳʰalu gäyru bəmḥəṣab may məs ʾaṣräya məʾnəti kiḳʰdəsa rəsḥat wäys ʿəṭar wäys gälä näzi zimäsl zebla bəzäy mänḳəb ḳədsətn kəbrətn maḥbär gäyru nəʾʾu məʾnəti keḳʰwəma ʾilu rəʾsu bäǧaʾa habä.
- Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the church, and delivered himself up for it: That he might sanctify it, cleansing it by the laver of water in the word of life: That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy, and without blemish.
