벼르다 (byeoreuda) (infinitive 별러, sequential 벼르니)

  1. (transitive) to look out for an opportunity (for), to wait in preparation (for)
    적군 기회 벼르고 있다.
    jeokgun-eun gihoe-reul byeoreugo itda.
    The enemy army is looking out for an opportunity.
