Sino-Korean word from 보조(補助) (bojo) + 정리(定理) (jeongni), an orthographic borrowing from Japanese 補助定理 (hojo teiri).

  • Phonetic hangul: [(ː) (ː)]
    • Though still prescribed in Standard Korean, most speakers in both Koreas no longer distinguish vowel length.
