From Proto-Indo-European *-tor, the primary third-person singular middle ending.
Suffix[edit]
-յր • (-yr)
- third-person singular imperfect ending of verbs
Usage notes[edit]
When preceded by -ե- (-e-), the ending was -էր (-ēr) through the regular եյ (ey) → է (ē) change.
