Structure of the French Republican Calendar.

Months[edit]

Each year was divided into 12 months of 30 days each, plus a group of 5 or 6 additional days, the Sansculottides, at the end of the year, starting on September 17 or 18 and lasting until the beginning of Vendémiaire.

Days[edit]

Each month was divided into three decades, or ten-day weeks, each made up by the following days:

  1. primidi
  2. duodi
  3. tridi
  4. quartidi
  5. quintidi
  6. sextidi
  7. septidi
  8. octidi
  9. nonidi
  10. décadi
