The pronunciation of g in Old Saxon.
[edit]I am under the impression that g before front vowels (e, i) is an English 'y' and 'g' before back vowels (a,o,u) is a the infamous velar voiced fricative g. (Grendel G). My grammar books are the followingː Altsächsisches Elementarbuch by Dr. F. Holthausen and Altsächsische Grammatik by Wilhelm Braune.
I've seen entries that have ge- with ipa starting with the VVF ̈(velar voiced fricative).
