  فلما علمت به علم به عالم الفطنة ثم عالم العلم ثم عالم الغيب ثم عالم العقل ثم عالم الحلم قال ثم علم به ملك جنان النور فاحتال لقهره قال وكان جنوده أولئك يقدرون على قهره ولكنه أراد أن يتولى ذلك بنفسه فاولد بروح يمنته وبخمسة عالميه وبعناصره الاثني عشر مولودا وهو الإنسان القديم وندبه لقتال الظلمة قال فتدرع الإنسان القديم بالأجناس الخمسة وهي الآلهة الخمسة النسيم والريح والنور والماء والنار واتخذهم سلاحا

  "But it found out about him. First, the Eon of Understanding found out about him, then the Eon of Knowledge, then the Eon of Reason, then the Eon of Longanimity, then the Father of Light, and the Father of Light schemed to defeat him. These sentinels could have defeated him, but he wished to do it himself. Thus, he brought forth from his right-hand spirit and from his twelve elements a child, the Primordial Man, and urged him to fight the Darkness. So the the Primordial Man armored himself with the five elements, the five gods: Clear Air, Refreshing Wind, Bright Light, Life-Giving Waters, and Warming Fire."
