According to Klimov, here also belongs Svan კოტო̄ლ (ḳoṭōl, little; few), however this is discarded by Fähnrich–Sarǯvelaʒe. Čuxua derives the Svan word from Proto-Kartvelian *ḳwaṭ-, whence also Mingrelian კვეტე (ḳveṭe).
