Proto-Nakh[edit]
Etymology[edit]
Reconstruction notes[edit]
The Chechen and Ingush forms of the пӀелг are independent contamination with the Russian form of the па́лец (pálec, “finger”). In the Bats form, perhaps by analogy, the phoneme l has changed to r.
Noun[edit]
*ṭaliḳ
Descendants[edit]
- Bats: ტარკ (ṭarḳ)
- Vainakh:
