Borrowed from Gothic 𐌱𐍂𐌿𐌽𐌾𐍉 (brunjō, breastplate) or Proto-West Germanic *brunnjā (chain mail), either from Proto-Germanic *brunjǭ, from Proto-Celtic *brusnyos.
