@Leasnam -- I see you created this lemma way back, but there is also *asnijaz which lists many of the forms also listed here. I can't speak for the others but the Gothic form certainly matches the latter reconstruction better. Should some of the forms here be removed? Certainly both reconstructions can't apply to the same descendants. — Kleio (t · c) 01:16, 9 November 2017 (UTC)

It looks as if *asnijaz may be a later derivative of *asunz or *asniz, from the oblique forms. Which do you feel are directly descended from *asnijaz in addition to Gothic ? I would imagine Old English and Old Frisian, but perhaps not Old High German and Old Saxon ? Leasnam (talk) 14:44, 9 November 2017 (UTC)
