In modern Hindi the word for squirrel (another rodent) is gilehri, this appears related to the Proto-Indo-European root and might have been inherited through Sanskrit or Persian. I was wondering if anyone had knowledge of the etymology of the Hindi word. If so, should it or its root be added to the list of descendants?100.37.203.108 22:45, 4 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
