Why is this reconstructed with an ń?

As far as I can tell, no cognate points toward it, instead pointing toward a *küye, ontop of that Clauson also reconstructs it as such on page 754. Yorınçga573 (talk) 16:35, 19 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

EDAL reconstructs it with *ń, to make a compare to Proto-Tungusic *kuńīkta ("butterfly") Ardahan Karabağ (talk) 17:28, 19 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
