stubu

[edit]

Why is this reconstrued as "stobu" when the High German form clearly shows that a-mutation did not take place and no other language gives evidence to the contrary? 84.63.31.38 14:37, 20 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I created the Old English page first, so I had it there with 'o'. I added the 'u' forms as Alt, but if you'd like it moved, please do so or let me know and I will do it. Es macht mir nichts. Leasnam (talk) 01:07, 21 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Sokkjo, I would like to move this entry and it's related term *stobō to *stubu and *stubō respectively. Thoughts ? Leasnam (talk) 15:45, 12 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Leasnam: RC:Proto-West Germanic/stobu => RC:Proto-West Germanic/stubu, RC:Proto-West Germanic/stobō => RC:Proto-West Germanic/stubō? -- Sokkjō 17:51, 12 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
