Translingual[edit]
Etymology[edit]
From a claimed Latin sēdō (“smooth”) + English respiratory enteric orphan (“not associated with a known disease”) + -virinae. The first element may have been chosen in error, given that the Latin word in question is a verb, rather than an adjective.
