IPA pronunciation of this word[edit]

I'm confused as to the pronunciation of this word. As a Kabardian learner, I learned щ makes /ɕ/ sound. But in this word, it is transcribed as /ʂ/. In Adyghe, шъ makes /ʂ/, though some texts replace it as щ. I'm aware of dialectical differences but for literary Kabardian it should be /ɕ/, right? In addition, I don't think к1 is pronounced with palatalization.

Another question, is it customary to transcribe IPA combinations such as /tʃ/ on Wikipedia with or without the tie bar?
