Prae-cox[edit]

@Theklan: I assume they thought that “overripe” means “overly fast ripe”, “overtaking the other sorts in ripening”. But literally praecox is “early-ripe” indeed, and it is desired that crops never become overripe in the usual sense but reaped before they become so. Fay Freak (talk) 01:41, 4 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
