Persian[edit]

Is it true that in Persian Arab also means something like "rude"? w:nl:Dari says so. Mallerd 17:25, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I can't confirm this right now, but it wouldn't surprise me at all, considering that the Persians take great pride in their millennia-old civilisation and have always viewed the Arabs as uncouth, uncultured newcomers.
