Akkadian origin?[edit]
The entry Nisibis claims an Akkadian origin of the Syriac/Aramaic. 70.172.194.25 05:27, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
- This has been added in December by @Shuraya, perhaps a misunderstanding of the Wikipedia entry on the place: If first attested in Akkadian writing this does not mean it is from Akkadian, rather—especially with that particular attestation time—the Akkadian was from Aramaic.
