Why are you lying in bad English? Are you promoting hatred of the Assamese?
While it would probably have been better to name the characters as EASTERN NAGARI rather than BENGALI, the ISO 10646 names cannot be changed. Besides, this letter has been used in Bengali. The collapse, or imminent collapse, of the stand-alone BA, VA and RA letters and local attempts to fix the problem have led to a situation where different languages or dialects have resolved the problem differently, and even differently at different times. --RichardW57 (talk) 14:09, 27 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
I didn't mean to promote, any hatred towards Assamese. Maybe my words were misleading, so I would like to apologize for that. I lack knowledge of ISO names, so my argument on this topic is invalid. I will delete my post.
