Noun gender[edit]

The occurrences of feminine are much more common.[1] The description is accurate but the declension table seems to show the noun followed by the masculine article, for some reason. --Eleftheria1993 (talk) 20:21, 9 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Meaning of ἄρκτος (bear)[edit]

I suggest, without any evidence whatever, that this is cognate or related to the word airth* (the way) because bears were followed to find beehives. Wastrel Way (talk) Eric
