Annoyingly the anchor emoji doesn’t seem to exist anymore, at least on my iPhone, but when it did it was fun to call people ‘w anchor emoji’ instead of ‘wanker’ (due to ‘anchor’ sounding like the -anker of ‘wanker’). We should probably create that (or at least someone who is still able to type this emoji should).—-Overlordnat1 (talk) 12:59, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Overlordnat1 I've started w⚓ with a few Twitter citations. Einstein2 (talk) 13:55, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Einstein2 Thanks! There's also quite a few hits under 'w-anchor' [1] seems to be the earliest. --Overlordnat1 (talk) 17:49, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Overlordnat1 Nice catch. I've added w-anchor as a euphemistic(?) form, including the 2008 tweet on the citations page. It's been around on Usenet since at least 1996. Einstein2 (talk) 20:59, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
