It's better to have the definition, etc., at one entry, and have the other point to it. The standard practice for comprehensive English-language Japanese reference books (and Japanese reference books in Japanese, as far as I can tell) is to use the 漢字 as the main identifier for the term. </Jun-Dai>

(1) It's in my 電子辞書, the meaning being something along the lines of pseudonym, alias, and nickname. It's also a place name.
(2) That doesn't explain the rest of the reversion, that only explains why you got rid of the second item.
