Is there a standard format for Katakana entries yet? — Blade Hirato 08:39, 7 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Kind of. There is no heading "Foreign derivative". That heading is for the part of speech, in this case "Noun". The fact that it is derived from a foreign language belongs under "Etymology". Your "See derivatives" stuff is not very clear. You can put "See also" with both "ブル" and "ドッグ". Now if the etymology of this word is known you may well know if those two were borrowed first and then joined to form this word, or, more likely, that "bulldog" was borrowed directly to form this word. I'll make these edits. — Hippietrail 08:49, 7 Aug 2004 (UTC)
