@Justinrleung I wonder if the second character is supposed to be voiced after all. In this clip (around 0:39) you can hear he pronounces the initial b voiced, and he is from Chaozhou. So it looks like that pronunciation may not be unique to Singapore after all. The dog2 (talk) 13:55, 7 January 2023 (UTC)
