@RcAlex36, Not being a monarchistologist, I tend to think as long as someone was formally created a title, they'd belong to the category. In traditional historiography there are often chapters titled 后妃傳 that record the biographies of women who "officially" belong to the imperial household, no matter whether they've earned the title Empress Dowager. --Frigoris (talk) 10:45, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
