Hypercorrection in Mandarin pronunciation recording[edit]
In the audio file File:Zh-nǎlǐ.ogg the first syllable has strongly emphasised 3rd tone (at least to my inexperienced ear). Isn't this hypercorrection? What about the rule that with two 3rd tones in a word, the first one becomes 2nd tone? Should we include this audio recording as a pronunciation guide? --Derbeth talk 11:23, 11 November 2021 (UTC)
