But 小數 is just the decimal notation for numbers, and is applicable to integers too (e.g. 12.00), no? Wyang (talk) 13:39, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

@Justinrleung I think this is confusing two subtly different senses of this word. 小數 is the name for the whole notation. The part before the decimal point is 小數的整數部分, and the part after is 小數的小數部分.
