Living or dead[edit]

Is the leech as used in Chinese medicine living or dead? Is it a blood-sucking animal or the remains of such an animal? Also aren't other species of leeches used in Asia? DCDuring TALK 01:18, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
