FLTRP's New Century dictionary has an entry for 琺 which says 【珐琅】fàláng (名) enamel: ~制品 enamelware 【珐琅质】fàlángzhì (名) [生理] enamel

Liang'an Cidian says 1. (臺) 姓。 2. 參見【琺瑯】。 [1]

What I take from these two sources is that 琺瑯 means "enamel" but 琺 on its own is just a meaningless half-word. Neither of my sources gives "enamel" as a definition of 琺. Instead, they (effectively) say "it doesn't have a meaning itself, but it's used in 琺瑯, which means "enamel"). Also, in Taiwan 琺 is apparently used as a surname. Wiktionary has an entry for 枇 which says Only used in 枇杷 (pípá), and I think 琺 should be given similar treatment, i.e. something like Only used in 琺瑯 or (in Taiwan) as a surname.
