Mandarin readings[edit]

Can it be added in which contexts the two different Mandarin readings are used? 24.29.228.33 05:53, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

To User:204.11.186.190: Look closely. —suzukaze (tc) 07:30, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I did so. There are two different readings, with no clue given to the reader in which context(s) each is used, nor why there are two different readings for the same character. ZDic gives only one reading: http://www.zdic.net/z/22/xs/8102.htm Can it be added in which contexts the two different Mandarin readings are used? 204.11.186.190 15:50, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The contexts in which the two different Mandarin readings are used really need to be explained clearly in this entry, whether or not you wish to engage in actual discussion. Even better would be to simply fix it without needing to make the same request repeatedly. 15:30, 30 November 2016 (UTC)

The presentation could be better, but in terms of the entry itself there is nothing to fix anymore. —suzukaze (tc) 22:30, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That's just not good enough. The crucial information of in which contexts the various Mandarin readings are used should be clearly visible to all who come to use our project. Please do the right thing in this case, preventing needless repeated requests. 173.88.241.33 18:13, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
