This one might be a sum of parts or maybe a phrase. 重 here is understood as 重视, 尊重, not "heavy". Similar constructions also exist for other qualities, eg. 重友谊, 重友情, 重亲情. It's just that this one is overwhelmingly common. Wjcd 04:48, 15 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
