@SodhakSH How did you decide which of the four forms to make to the main entry and place the descendants? Did you choose this form because 𑀘𑁆𑀙 (ccha) does not agree phonologically and the Sanskrit term has 𑀲 (sa)? Kutchkutch (talk) 12:12, 16 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Kutchkutch: Sanskrit sa- and sā- did influence it (as the descendants are adjectives, coming from sa-, not its vriddhi form meaning likeness). I chose -kkha as the descendants have it instead of -(c)ch-. Do you mean Skt/OIA kṣa != MIA ccha by "not agree phonologically"? But this is observed in so many terms. 🔥शब्दशोधक🔥 16:19, 16 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
@SodhakSH: Thanks for confirming. The reason for asking is because it was one of your requests for attention. What was meant by "not agree phonologically" was MIA 𑀘𑁆𑀙 (ccha) != NIA , which is the same as the descendants have [-kkha] instead of -(c)ch-.
𑀲𑀭𑀺𑀘𑁆𑀙 (sariccha) should be a soft redirect. Even though CDIAL shows uncertainty regarding M. sarsā(or < sadŕ̊śa -- ), perhaps Old Marathi सरस (sarasa) and सरिस (sarisa) can be considered to be from Sanskrit सदृश (sadṛśa). Kutchkutch (talk) 17:44, 16 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
