@Makaokalani I don't doubt that this exists, but it's not in Oqaatsit. I have the third edition, but the ISBN is the same as the one you gave. Also, it is not shortened; -nnguaq is truncative, so the vanishing of the q, and the consequent e -> i, is entirely expected.__Gamren (talk) 14:39, 8 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

There are no names in Oqaatsit, only words like ameq. Why on earth did I write "shortened"? I don't know any Greenlandic. The names were taken from the Personal Names Committee website (now in book form, cf Tuppi), checked from [1] Danskernes navne that they exist, and from the dictionary that the word wasn't misspelled.
