"week"?[edit]

Can this word, in lower case (damį́įgo), mean "week," as it states in the translations section of the week entry? 71.66.97.228 19:40, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. I really don’t think it ever amounts to a proper noun. English is almost the only language that considers Sunday a proper noun. Virtually everyone else (the Spanish, French, Russians, Chinese, Japanese, Ojibwe, Swedish, Italians, and almost everybody) thinks it’s just a common noun. But it is written with a lowercase to mean week. —Stephen 21:41, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
