I've never heard it used for a "loss of consciousness", it always means that you can't remember part of the night. All the quotes given have that sense. 92.73.31.57 11:28, 2 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

The classic Filmriss: you drink too much alcohol, you pass out somewhere and thus lose consciousness. Then you wake up and don't remember what happened and how you got there. It's often a bit of both, I think the definition made sense as it stood. – Jberkel 11:59, 2 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
