Ionensis seems also to have been used in Mediaeval Latin with the meaning “of or from Iona” (western Scotland, rather than eastern Greece). I may add this meaning if I can find sufficient evidence for it. — I.S.M.E.T.A. 13:20, 30 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
