The verb abastardise is attested, so we should keep the verb form, but is the adjective abastardising attested? 70.172.194.25 19:02, 29 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

When I asked about such cases in the past, consensus was to include the other obvious forms even if not individually attested. Equinox 19:05, 29 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
This RfV is for the adjective lemma, not the verb non-lemma form. (And, to be clear, I didn't find any attestation for either.) 70.172.194.25 19:05, 29 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
I found one instance on EEBO for the spelling abastardizing which could be read as adjectival, at Citations:abastardizing (and another obviously verbal one I haven't added). It does not look attested for the -ise spelling. —Al-Muqanna المقنع (talk) 19:49, 29 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
I can find two cites in GBooks for abastardizing (the -z- spelling) which probably meet adjectivity tests, but that's only two. This, that and the other (talk) 08:34, 11 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
