Where is the stress of this word? I thought until today it was ádversary, but heard one journalist pronounce it advérsary. Which is the correct place of the stress? Bogorm 14:15, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There are two pronunciations I've heard in the UK, as Bogorm notes, and both are now in the entry. I wouldn't like to say which was more common or more correct though. Thryduulf 22:22, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
